About

Danielle Karlikoff (DK) is a Sydney-born jewellery artist with Korean, Russian, and extraterrestrial roots. Her diverse background sets the stage for creating environments where the human and the otherworldly meet.

Since 2017, DK has been dedicated to crafting custom, handcrafted jewellery. She has collaboraed with over 500 clients to distil personal moments into lasting artefacts. Behind each piece is a quiet study of human behaviour: how people express love, belief, and identity through the objects they keep close. DK views jewellery as a form of technology for channeling power, memory, and collective history -  instruments through which transformation can occur.

Her creations, known as creatures, blend ancient techniques with a distinct personal identity, challenging the conventions of mass-luxury consumption and infusing them with new life. Each one acts as a trace of its wearer’s story, and as a clue in DK’s ongoing research into what it means to be human.

Awarded a major grant from the Australia Council for the Arts in 2021, DK joined the Current Obsession talent accelerator in the Netherlands before relocating to Paris - the perfect setting for her alien DNA to feel at home.

DK invites you to explore two strands of Mutation that activate your inner alien: My-Mutation (ready-to-wear) and Dream-Mutation (made-to-order).
